Greetings in the name of Jesus the Christ. It is my privilege to serve as the Interim Pastor of Christ the King Lutheran Church in Delafield. This congregation is committed to following the example of Jesus, in serving their neighbors and being the hands and feet of Christ wherever there is need. Compassion and a strong sense of community make this congregation a great place to be and make it a great fit for my own sense of “call.”
I live in Waukesha with my wife Marion, and three of our seven children. Four daughters are grown and live in the Midwest. We are also blessed with two grandchildren (both 2 years old) and another on the way. Most recently, I was the Director of Church Relations for Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin and Upper Michigan, where I was able to work in development (fundraising) supporting services like adoption, refugee resettlement, and support for individuals with disabilities as well as representing Lutheran Disaster Response.
I’ve served congregations in Southeast Wisconsin and in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I was born and raised in the Upper Peninsula, which makes me a “Yooper,” but a proud resident of Wisconsin for over 11 years. I enjoy camping, skiing, kayaking, and spending time with my wife and family.
Together with the people of Christ the King Lutheran Church, our work is to “know Christ and make him known.” I look forward to working together in ministry over the next months.
