Rev. Jacqueline Cook (Jackie) received a Bachelor’s of Science degree at Carroll University in Waukesha, and a Masters of Divinity degree from Wartburg Theological Seminary in Dubuque, Iowa.
She and her family lived in North Prairie for 21 years and were members of All Saints, in Wales, before following God’s call to pastor in Minnesota.
Pastor Jackie is a second career pastor, having spent 25 years in health care management, the last 15 being at Shorehaven as their business office manager.
She enjoys reading, morning meditation, journaling, family time and "connecting" with others.
Having grown up on a farm in upstate New York, I spent most of my waking hours in the woods, pastures, and barn and sometimes practicing organ and piano. I began playing in church in the 7th grade, later attended The College of St. Rose for a BS and MFA in music at
the University of Buffalo. Twenty years ago, following my husband’s job, we left NY for WI.
Called to use my gifts in the life and song of the church, I also passionately pursue my love of nature, wildlife, gardening, and planting trees; birding and hiking, reading, cooking and trying to live sustainably with zero waste and doing all of that, with my family; my husband, Marty, of 40 years, my six children and their partners, and my three grandchildren.
I love the great hymn tradition of the Lutheran Church and my new favorite is ELW #739. “Touch the earth lightly, use the earth gently, nourish the life of the world in our care…Christ reconnect us, using us gently, and making us one.” - text by Jaroslav J. Vajda
Kristin was raised in Delafied, Wisconsin, before pursuing a Bachelor of Arts of Legal Students at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. During the summers, she served as a Day Camp Counselor at the YMCA of Pabst Farms and developed a love of working with children.
After graduation, she served as a Police Officer in Madison, where she served a diverse community and was affectionally nicknamed, the “mom-cop.” There, she learned that one of her core values was to treat everyone she met with kindness, to meet them where they are, and that a sympathetic ear goes a long way.
After moving back to Delafield, she is thrilled to be back in her hometown. Her daughter, Emerson, went to All God’s Children and she was re-connected with Christ the King. She loves spending time in nature at Lapham Peak Park, reading, browsing thrift shops, yoga, taking her Emmy for ice-cream at Wholly Cow, and enjoying local restaurants with her husband. You might see her riding up to church services on her beloved e-bike.
Maggie and her husband, Mike, have lived in the Lake Country area of Wisconsin for many years. They have two grown boys; one living in New Berlin and the other recently moved to Cape Coral, Florida.
Maggie has been an Office Manager in the fields of Financial Planning, Community Outreach working for the Oconomowoc Chamber of Commerce, and Healthcare engineering.
Summertime is her favorite time of year, enjoying boating on Nagawicka Lake and participating (on land) with the Badgerland Ski Show Team (water skiing). Other times you will find her out and about with friends eating at restaurants, walking around Delafield at community events or at home listening to music.
Sylvia is a retired RN, mother of 3 sons, grandmother of 7, and owner of Bandit, a silky terrier. Sylvia enjoys visiting with people and will bring a word of prayer to whomever she visits!
