Weekly worship is important to us. In it, God meets us in powerful ways. When we worship, the Spirit creates faith as the good news of God’s love is proclaimed through Jesus. We celebrate Holy Communion at all our Sunday Services. All are welcome to participate.
We call our first Sunday worship service the “Heritage Service.” It is a liturgical experience common to Lutherans. Hymns at the Heritage Service are accompanied mostly by organ. CTK’s Sanctuary and Bell Choirs regularly provide music.
The later Sunday gathering we call the “Sojourners’ Service.” It engages people through a variety of styles of worship, mixing newer music with beloved songs from the past. This service retains “the shape” of a Lutheran worship experience, but opens the door for more creativity and newer approaches to melody and other expressions.
