Christians around the world are commemorating the 500th anniversary of the Reformation in 2017. Christ the King will lead a trip to Germany as part of its adult education ministry, May 9-19, 2017. This study tour will be the culmination of a congregational emphasis on the reformation, Lutheran history, and Lutheran theology.

This trip is a collaborative trip, involving people of other local congregations. It is being led by Pastor Jordan and other pastors in the area have been invited to host people from their churches.  Participants need not be a member of any of the participating churches.  All are welcome.

The tour will include Lutheran sites such as Wittenburg, Wartburg Castle, Coburg Castle, Mainz, Erfurt, Eisleben and more.  It is also scheduled to include other historical sites such as The Bach House, Courtroom 600 used in the Nuremberg Trials, the Nazi rally grounds, Berlin’s Olympic Stadium, and an afternoon cruise on the Rhine River.

This tour is being offered through Imagine tours and travel, LLC. Pastor Jordan has traveled with them twice before and has found them to be very reliable and helpful.
